Heres a tip that might save your butt.If youre ever out in the middle of no where and get a flat without a spare or a can or two of fix a flat and no cell phone reception what do you do?Its very simple.Jack up your car and cut a flap in the sidewall of the flat tire, push the indented part of the tire back out.Fill the flat tire, through the flap you cut, full of grass, dead leaves, rags, etc. It will hold up for a while.

Reminds me of many years ago when we were dirt track racing on a really tight budget. A couple of times we got long cuts in the sidewall of the dirt racing tires from rubbing against the side of another car. We would sew the gashes closed with fishing line and put tubes in them and keep on using them. We also had a guy who gave us old asphalt slicks and we cut tread in them with a chainsaw and used them on the dirt... Fun times. Now THAT is radical! And you're still walking amongst the living!
