I've been hearing the predator/fur trappers love the caliber out to 150 yds . The small entry hole and the bullet explodes inside the prey . 17 Magnum is cooking @ 3000 fps . Just don't use it on a windy day ..... LOL

Very good informational video.
My son in law has one of those 17s and has a blast shooting skunks and oppossums with it out to about 150 yds.
