What's weird is Alaska is having it warmest winter on record, yeah cause all our heat went north, and pushed all the cold downhill lol.

Good news is , I've been told 2 weeks of frigid teen or below temps may wipe out our TICK infestation here in Pa. I've never in my life seen the ticks so bad here .

My hope too is that this global er warming will take care of some of the chigger and skeeter problems here this Summer.

No skeeters at all over here in North East TN. That's one of the first things I noticed the first Spring we were here. Getting snow today though. And when I looked out the kitchen window to see how much I saw this guy looking back at me. The cows next door have a new playmate.  Donkeies are cool animals . They also act as a watchdog an old farmer told me . |

Now I've seen it all... When I lived in New Hampshire if there wasn't at least a foot of snow the kids still had to go to school. Here in Tennessee an inch is a state of emergency and they are telling people to stay off the roads and sending out the troops. What is disturbing though is the fact that the police feel the need to have military grade vehicles. I have read that ALOT of the military hardware that's coming back from the middle east is being given to local PDs. Food for thought..   ?? |
