Believe in Religion? No. Religion has never saved anyone any more than a politician can be honest.
Believe in GOD? Yes. See HIM in all I touch.
Believe the Bible? Yes. Life's instruction book and owner's manual.

Well said Chadeaux .I believe in God,have studied the Bible in spurts (love Proverbs) gone to church off and on on and come to the realization that church and knowing God can be on a pew or out in the woods but each and every person definition of spirituality and how deep they want to go is their own choice and some people think the deeper the Bible the better a Christian you are.I don't buy that.

It isn't how much you have studied, it's how you've applied it. "Love the LORD your GOD with your whole heart, your whole mind and your whole soul." "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." ... and since we were created in HIS image, we also need to remember that "GOD is love." That doesn't mean HE loves the wrongdoing. It means HE offers his love to all of us sinners. Whether we accept it is up to us. Too many people confuse "Religion" and GOD. As the son of a minister who never accepted money for preaching, I know of what I speak. As a former minister, I can prove it. |

Once during my divorce - she divorced me for another man, I worked all the time, and I was hurting pretty bad - I was working for a software development company. I scheduled a meeting with a lady exec with Ford Motor Company about a project we were doing for them. I'd spoken briefly on the phone with her, but we had never met.
When we finished our lunch and discussion we were rising to leave. She said "there's seven around you". I was kinda duh.... She said "they are your angels".
I will never forget that experience

Some of my "God moments", have left me with seeking psychiatric assurement,
that I'm not loosing my mind. I never get clear answers from man! LOL!

I never doubt the convictions or beliefs of one who is describing what could be considered a "supernatural" event. Radio waves are everywhere around us. Infrared and ultraviolet light spectrums surround us...yet we cannot see them.
I am a strongly believer that God empowers us to create our own destinies. Science and religion are both lies based on different fundamental principles. What we believe is "reality" can be upended at any time.
