It has happened a few times before. You had to be a charter member to go to politics section. Then they would get rid of the politics section(usually coincided with the old owner trying to sell the site). Hopefully they let it stay this time, no crying to the owners now, so they say.
But I will be surprised if it lasts. In My Opinion, there are many forces trying to shut down open dissent of any kind. It will be nice when the reigns to the internet are handed over to the UN though, Finally we will be able to see the heavy hand of one world rule! Glorious, huh?
(small bit of irony dripped on that one)
