Great post RJC . I've caught myself checking those out a couple times . I think I saw an article in a Prepper magazine . You could carry a lot of ammo easily for one of those . I also hear they are pretty good hunting weapons .

Look like rich man's toys, not for the general public - or at least not for me.

Youre right about that buddy. Its one of the only alternatives for some people though.Like in Mass.if you were denied an F.I.D. card.No permits here needed for air rifles. No stipulations on the caliber

I've been spreading this info around, and most were completely unaware.
But that $1300 for the Benjamin is only the beginning. The pump is expensive and scuba type tank is over $400. You'd have beau coup bucks invested in that system.

Last fall I watched a program on hunting with an air rifle on the outdoor channel. The rifle I believe was of .50 cal, and really poleaxed the wild boar that was being hunted. Not sure that I would choose an air rifle for boar hunting!.......Gary

Chase the hogs down and kill them that way. Can't find the pic right now, but had a pic of his brother and two friends with a huge hog they killed that way. All three were covered with blood. Now them's real men!!! Can we get them on this site?
